Description

Charlesbourg has a rare example of a gristmill still standing in the middle of a town. This ancestral mill, built in 1742, was the heart of community life in the old days. Restored in 1992, it is now an interpretation centre, where families are invited to take part in “busy beaver” digs on Sundays throughout Archaeology Month.
